staying up late when I get an itch to write or read, looking at old photos, remembering, laughing, and being myself.
Mattel kindly named a doll after me in 1989. Someone gave me a Courtney doll for my seventh or eighth birthday, and it was like the coolest thing that had ever happened to me. Now I have a bunch of random things with my name on them.
Well, I don't really care who reads my journal. If there's anything I don't want the world to know, I write it down in my paperback journal. But rarely is anything that personal. life shouldn't be about keeping secrets and dishonesty. we are what we are. we have our ups and downs, our good and bad experiences. I don't usually go back and read old entries, but writing honestly is what gets me through the tough spots.
